Heart Pharmacy High Dose Flu Shot Scheduling

We're pleased to offer increased protection this season with High Dose Flu vaccines for people in Victoria aged 65 and above. We are committed to your health and wellbeing, and will be providing vaccination clinics until the middle of November and beyond. High Dose Flu Vaccines are a private pay vaccination and available only for adults aged 65 and above.

To ensure you receive the most effective flu protection for the season, we are encouraging patients to schedule their high dose flu vaccination appointments at the end of October or the beginning of November. Timing your flu vaccination in this manner maximizes your window of protection, extending it well into March of 2024. Additionally, we will only be able to administer COVID-19 boosters during the same appointment as high dose flu shots for those appointments scheduled after October 27th. We encourage patients, to book their high dose flu shots after October 27th.

Some individuals, particularly those who are immunocompromised, have imminent travel plans, or other pressing reasons, may require vaccination earlier. For this reason, we are providing limited High dose flu shot appointments before October 27th and will strive to accommodate requests to the best of our ability. If you require an early appointment before October 27th and do not see availability, please send an email to vaccinations@heartpharmacy.com and we will assist you in the coming days. Please be advised that for appointments before October 27th, we are unable to guarantee that you receive a COVID-19 booster at the time of your High Dose Flu appointment.
