Spring is here and you’re probably busy cleaning up your yard and patio, getting your car’s oil changed and planting a few flowers and veggies. It’s also a perfect time to give your body a tune up.
We are bombarded by internal and external toxins on a daily basis.Our bodies naturally expel toxins through a process called detoxification. It occurs mainly through the liver, kidney and bowel. If we become overloaded in toxins, we feel less than optimal and we overwork our organs as they try harder and harder to do their job.
Symptoms of toxin overload

Help your body through diet
To feel well you have to eat well. We all know this simple truth, we just have a hard time with implementation. Start with the basics. Eat a fiber rich diet with lots of veggies and fruits, lean protein and minimal refined carbs and sugars. Include beets, radishes, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, asparagus and parsley. They’re all super detoxifiers. Cut back or eliminate caffeine and alcohol. Drink plenty of water. It’s the best gift you can give your hard working organs.
